Verticals

TITANEX Verticals are famous for their loud low band signals. Remember the signals of VK9CR, VK9XY, C56CW, FW2OI, S21XX, P29VXX, DL7DF/HR3, K7K (Kure), T31BB, 9MØC (Spratly), TJ1GB, ZL7DK, YJØADJ, FOØFI/FOØFR, 3B7RF, CN8WW, 3B9R, CEØZY, A52A, D68C, 3GØY, 3B9C and many, many others. Titanex Verticals are a must for every serious low band DXpedition!

Our verticals are extremely light due to the aluminum titanium alloy. Setup is possible in a very short time.

The V80E Vertical at D68C

We offer our verticals in two/three different versions:

	the HD-Version for stationary use, erectable with a cable winch, no guy wires
	the S-Version for stationary use and
	the E-Version for portable use only (DXpeditions).

They come accordingly in two different shipping sizes.

The expedition versions are now available with a maximum tubing length of 2m (6.6ft.) and a shipping length of only 2.1m (6.9ft) !!!

Tuning Units

The Tuning Units are built in waterproof boxes with a Plexiglas cover. We use specially designed coils, tunable air-capacitors and high-quality 12V DC Ceramic Relais (HPRL) for switching.

Antenna Bases

TITANEX Verticals are delivered with one of the following types of antenna bases as specified in the antenna specifications above.

Antenna Base Type "A"

Antenna Mount Base Type "A" consists of galvanized channel steel. The channel is about 1m (3.3ft.) long, about 8cm (3inches) wide, with 4cm (half inch) sides. There are two mounting holes drilled through the center of the channel. One near the top, the other about 30cm (1ft.) from the bottom. The 30cm (1ft.) long portion of the channel, below the second mounting hole, is driven into solid ground, or mounted in concrete.

The antenna itself is connected to the steel channel base with two identical insulating clamps. These clamps are shaped roughly like a lower-case letter "p". The base section of the antenna slips through both clamps (through the circular part of the letter "p"). The clamps are connected to the steel channel base using a bolt that corresponds to the tail portion of the letter "p".

Ratchets

We provide specially designed rope ratchets for tightening the guy ropes. They are made of aluminum and therefore don't corrode.
